How we publish

Eight gates, from manuscript to shelf.

The Library uses Odisena's operating method. The first four gates take a manuscript from idea to a first edition; the last four are what earn it a permanent seat in the catalog.

The pattern is RFPA · AVPT, the same operating method Odisena uses everywhere else. The Library just runs it against books.
What makes a Living Edition

A book that keeps learning.

A Living Edition is a book that ships as a first edition, then keeps its promises out loud. Same ISBN, same title, same publisher of record — but the errata and clarifications live with the book instead of behind it.

Same ISBN, new edition

Living Editions ship in numbered releases: 1.0, 1.1, 2.0. Print-on-demand and digital copies always fulfill the latest edition; every previous edition stays reachable.

Corrections stay with the book

Every book carries a public corrections appendix. Errors are quoted verbatim, then answered with citations. Nothing quietly disappears.

Provenance across the record

Every Living Edition links to Chronicle for the editorial log and to Identity for the trust story around who edits it.
